BYD’s new energy passenger car has achieved the world’s first mass-produced passenger car full-domain kilovolt high-voltage architecture, realizing deep integration of electrification, with a maximum charging rate of 10C and a maximum charging power of 1MW (1000kw).
In the actual vehicle test of BYD Han L EV, the megawatt flash charging pile achieved the world’s highest peak charging speed of “1 second to charge 2 kilometers” in mass production, and 407 kilometers of battery life can be replenished in 5 minutes.
Wang Chuanfu said that it takes 5 to 8 minutes for a fuel car to refuel once, and the range is about 500 kilometers. Now BYD megawatt flash charging can also replenish the same mileage in 5 to 8 minutes, truly realizing a new era of oil and electricity at the same speed.
In order to accelerate the popularization of megawatt flash charging, BYD will plan to build more than 4,000 megawatt flash charging piles across the country. At the same time, BYD’s megawatt flash charging technology is open to industry sharing, and more social capital is welcome to participate.
